Creating Interactions with Storyline Simulations

This scenario-based eLearning simulation helps clients to explore viewing their employee data without being overwhelmed by technical information.

Process

I designed and developed this interactive simulation by working closely with experts from four regions. I used scenario-based learning, gamification, and Articulate Storyline 360 to bring this learning experience to life.

Instructional Design

The materials feature a character named Hans, who appears throughout a six-phase learning journey. Hans is new to the payroll team and is gradually becoming familiar with the payroll operations management system. Through his actions, he helps guide users step by step, answering common questions and allowing them to relate to his experience.

The original content provided by SMEs was highly technical. By integrating simulations, I was able to translate that material into practical, hands-on activities, helping users understand the process through learning by doing.
