Creating a Productive Workforce
This was one of my favorite freelance projects. I worked with the client for six months and was involved in several internal processes. In addition to creating video presentations for their learning platform, I collaborated with six facilitators from Malaysia, supporting them in preparing content by extracting what was most relevant for users, developing assessments and practical activities, and editing their sessions.
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Video Editing
Target Audience: Young Executives,
Client: Jobtiviti, Malaysia
Tools Used: Camtasia, Powtoon, PowerPoint
Process
In the initial discussions with the client, it became clear that they wanted me to take on multiple roles in the project, not just video development or editing.
The project aimed to launch a paid online learning platform for recent graduates and young executives, offering 50–100 hours of content (20% theory, 60% practice, 20% assessments reviewed by instructors). The goal: help users build a portfolio and gain practical experience they can confidently present in job interviews.
Instructional Design
I worked with SMEs to align existing content with the skills and actions expected of young executives, resulting in clear, measurable learning objectives for each course.
I used the learning objectives to guide content design—removing irrelevant material, filling in gaps through research, and helping facilitators structure the content into clear, logical modules.
You can view several videos I created for this project, which I was permitted to share. However, my role went far beyond video development and editing. Collaborating with a culturally diverse, international team deepened my interest in designing complex learning experiences.
