This illustration is my personal reflection on the deep homesickness I feel for the vibrant Ukrainian spring. Back home, each month is a celebration of different blossoms and beauty—spring there is truly incredible. Here in Manitoba, Canada, the wait is much longer. Greenery only begins to appear in May, and the first dandelions feel like quiet little miracles. They become symbols of hope, gently whispering that spring has finally come. This piece is about longing—for warmth, for renewal, and for the place that still feels like home. 🌿
