Some doors were never meant to be opened — and some staircases only go one way: down.

This illustration captures the entrance to a forgotten hallway deep within the underbelly of the city — where the lights flicker, wires hang like veins, and something (or someone) is always watching.

Part of an environment concept series for a larger visual story, blending suspense, urban decay, and psychological mystery.
