Murmuration
Starling murmuration... has a song-like description, don't you think?
In reality, this description is for a phenomenon just as amazing as you would think such a song would be.
A "murmuration" is what happens when a lot of starlings flock together and fly through the sky as one enormous mass. They don't only fly together as a flock. During this sky show, they morph into a variety of shapes by twisting and turning.
The phenomenon begins when one starling repeats the behavior of its seven neighbors, and then those nearby copy each of their seven neighbors, and so on until the entire group moves. Experts aren't precisely sure how this happens.
The motion graphics was thus inspired by murmurations and uses halftone patterns to add texture and movement, simulating light transitions. These patterns enhance depth, mimic density variations, and create rhythmic motion, making animations more immersive while bridging digital abstraction with natural flocking behavior.
