Couples illustrations

What inspired me for this project is my personnal life and moreover my own wedding. 

This drawing was inspired by my Indonesian wedding, where every element was carefully chosen for its symbolic meaning. The vibrant colors represent harmony and balance, while the flowers symbolize the blossoming of love and the hope for a fruitful union.

At the heart of the artwork are the Arowana fish—powerful symbols within the Chinese Indonesian community. Often associated with wealth, prosperity, and good fortune, the Arowana is believed to attract positive energy and success. Revered as a "dragon fish" for its shimmering, scale-covered body and majestic presence, it is a cherished emblem in feng shui practices, particularly among Chinese Indonesians who value it as a guardian of abundance and harmony in the home.
