This is a web and mobile app designed to organize English learning for school students, combining lesson scheduling, subscription management, and progress tracking in a clear, modern interface. The app features a Skills section, where students can see what competencies they’re building, a flexible search and filter system for lessons, and intuitive daily or 5-day lesson views. The platform supports both subscriptions and one-time tickets. Mobile-first, the product offers real-time lesson notifications, responsive design, and smooth cross-device access. Its key feature is a well-validated, efficiency-driven UX, outperforming industry standards in booking flow completion time and user retention.
One of the main challenges was unifying user needs across three distinct roles — student, parent, and school admin — while ensuring speed, simplicity, and pedagogical value. Subscription vs. one-time lesson logic introduced significant UX tension, especially when paired with discount mechanics and trial sessions. The Skills section required clear, gamified feedback without becoming gimmicky. Mobile behavior differed sharply from desktop, with parents primarily using phones, and teens switching between devices. Booking UX had to accommodate both fast filters and calendar-based views without losing clarity. Notifications for upcoming lessons also had to avoid being perceived as spam while ensuring relevance
We introduced modular UX paths tailored to each role — simplifying choices for parents, offering visual schedules for kids, and providing insights for admins. The Skills section used badge-style progress indicators and milestone tracking, validated through interactive prototypes. Our subscription model was redesigned to minimize decision friction by pre-selecting most likely plans and clearly separating one-time purchases. Filters used a progressive disclosure approach, allowing quick access to key tags (level, topic, teacher, time of day). Push notifications were timed based on behavioral data to achieve high engagement without user fatigue. A/B tests across the booking flow led to a 16% improvement in completion time compared to baseline competitors.
