Ram Kinker Baij Catalog

I created a detailed catalog based on the life and works of renowned Indian modernist sculptor and painter Ram Kinker Baij. This project followed a visit to the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Delhi, where I closely studied Baij’s artworks, style, and influence.

The catalog is designed to serve both as a tribute and an educational resource, highlighting Baij’s contributions to Indian modern art. It features high-quality visuals of his iconic sculptures and paintings, accompanied by concise curatorial text that contextualizes his work historically and thematically. The layout focuses on clarity and elegance, allowing the reader to experience his artistic journey in a structured and engaging way.

Special attention was given to the use of fonts, color palette, and paper aesthetics to reflect the earthy, bold, and expressive qualities of Baij’s work. This catalog was part of a broader effort that also included designing a companion website UI for NGMA Delhi, reinforcing accessibility and visual storytelling.
