Amul Lassi Packaging

I redesigned the tetra pack packaging for Amul Lassi, aiming to enhance its cultural appeal and better reflect the traditional essence of lassi. I felt that the existing packaging lacked the desi or Indian touch that makes lassi such a nostalgic and authentic beverage.

To capture this cultural richness, I illustrated the traditional Indian gesture of pouring lassi back and forth to create froth—a common practice that signifies its creamy texture and homemade feel. This visual is set in a classic ceramic cup, adding to the authenticity and warmth of the experience.

For the rose-flavored variant, I introduced red tones into the design. The existing packaging only mentioned the flavor textually, which I felt lacked visual appeal. By incorporating color cues, the redesign makes the flavor instantly recognizable and more attractive on shelves.

Overall, the new packaging balances tradition with clarity, using illustration and color to tell a more immersive and flavorful story.
