Project Summary: A Construction Management Dashboard
At a construction tech startup, I worked on a web app designed to help teams manage their projects. One of the key issues users faced was feeling overwhelmed as soon as they logged in—they were dropped straight into a detailed 3D view with a list of issues for just one area, without any sense of the bigger picture.
To address that, I designed a new landing experience called Project Summary—a high-level dashboard that gave users a quick snapshot of how their projects were doing overall. It showed things like whether a project was over budget or behind schedule, helping users quickly understand project health without digging through details.
This became the new default landing page and ended up driving a noticeable increase in engagement across the platform. As the Senior Product Designer, I led the entire design process—from running user research and a sketching workshop to delivering the final UI—working closely with the product manager and lead engineer.
