Project Overview

The mental health care app aims to provide immediate emotional support, personalized mental well-being exercises, and therapist insights. It is designed for users experiencing anxiety or stress, offering them emotional assistance through AI, along with real-time monitoring for therapists. Key features include an emotional wheel, AI-driven mood identification, personalized DBT exercises, and crisis mode for high-anxiety users.

  1. High-Anxiety User (Emergency Assistance)

    • Needs : Immediate help, calming strategies, and easy access to support.

    • Pain Points: Difficulty navigating standard UI during anxiety episodes; requires urgent help.

    • Solution: Crisis mode with a simplified UI, dark theme, and quick access to AI voice/text assistant. The system triggers Crisis Mode automatically if inactivity is detected.

  2. General User Interested in Mindfulness

    • Needs: Regular mental well-being exercises, positive reinforcement, and a personalized experience.

    • Pain Points: Difficulty maintaining consistency and selecting appropriate exercises.

    • Solution: AI-powered DBT exercises based on the selected emotion. The user can guide the AI if the suggestions aren’t comfortable, and if necessary, the AI connects them to a therapist.

    • Needs: Insights into emotional patterns of clients, quick access to high-risk cases, and effective follow-up strategies.
