Stress Hoarding

As part of a college assignment, I designed a hoarding focused on stress—a mental state often caused by societal pressures or personal expectations. This project aims to raise awareness about the widespread but under-discussed issue of stress and its impact on mental health.

The core concept is rooted in the idea that individuals suffering from stress tend to internalize their struggles, often feeling unable or unwilling to share them openly. The design reflects this emotional isolation, portraying friends and family in the background with limited influence—symbolizing the perceived disconnect and helplessness surrounding the individual.

A minimalist aesthetic guides the visual language. Whites and yellows are used to evoke peace, positivity, and vitality, while strategic use of red acts as a warning—signifying both the severity of the issue and creating visual balance. The simplicity of the layout enhances clarity, allowing the emotional weight of the message to resonate more powerfully.

This hoarding is not only a visual communication piece but also a call to break the silence and encourage conversation around mental well-being.
