🚠Quit Now – Smoking Cessation App
📌 Project Overview
Quit Now is a mobile application designed to help users quit smoking through a structured program that tracks their progress, health improvements, and provides motivation through daily challenges and accomplishments. The goal was to create an intuitive, engaging, and motivating experience for users undergoing a difficult behavioral change.
🧠Problem Statement
Many smokers struggle to quit due to lack of structured support, visibility of progress, and motivation. There was a need for a digital tool that could visualize milestones, offer rewards, and track tangible benefits in real time — both health-wise and financially.
🎯 Goals
Encourage long-term smoking cessation through behavioral design.
Provide meaningful data like money saved, health benefits, and life expectancy increase.
Reward users with badges, certificates, and real progress visualization.
Create a friendly, non-judgmental interface that users want to return to daily.
đź’ˇ Key Features & Screens
1. Dashboard (Progress Overview)
Tracks time without cigarettes, packs avoided, money saved, and life gained.
Displays a visual health improvement meter.
Shows current challenge level out of 25 to boost engagement.
2. Health Benefits

Encourages daily commitment and goal setting.
4. Accomplishment (Certificate of Success)
Personalized certification page for users who successfully meet major goals.
Includes name, date, and a downloadable/sharable certificate.
Adds an emotional and social reward layer.
🧩 Design Highlights

Microinteractions: Small UI responses for buttons and progress help make the app feel alive.
Emotional Reinforcement: Visuals like healthy lungs, growing bars, badges enhance satisfaction.
Consistency: Typography, iconography, and color usage is consistent and brand-appropriate.
🧪 Usability Considerations
Large tappable buttons for accessibility.
Contrast-optimized UI for better readability across devices.
No triggering content (e.g., cigarette images) to ensure a safe recovery space.
