New Design Choices

I'm happy with how the new blur functionality works in the WebCull bookmark manager. The settings panels are now redesigned too. I've wanted to change it for quite some time. I'd start making changes and then revert it back. I did this probably in 3 different events. This one clicked for me and I feel like it depicts the direction of product and company. I also really like how the slider handle illuminates as you slide it. If you look closely, it's not just changing the color uniformly. It's actually done by using the background color of the slider, color mix-blending, opacity and brightness and contrast filters. Was that necessary for the product? Maybe not, but you could argue the same thing about many of these fine details. Ultimately products work better when they look better because they make us feel different.
