Tan Thang Complex

Introduction

This project is a full-scale industrial factory complex designed for Tan Thang Manufacturing & Trading Co., Ltd, located in Quynh Luu, Nghe An. The objective was to create a modern, efficient facility that supports manufacturing operations while meeting stringent structural and safety standards.

The Goal

To develop a comprehensive architectural and structural design package for a steel-framed industrial workshop, including auxiliary spaces such as the production area, office building, and public service blocks. The design had to optimize workflow, durability, and ease of future expansion.

The Challenge

The key challenge was ensuring structural integrity and functionality within the constraints of local building codes, tight land usage, and aggressive construction timelines. Complexities also arose in aligning multiple functional zones (factory floor, utilities, admin) while maintaining cost-effectiveness and future adaptability.

Design Direction

The design followed a pragmatic, modular approach. Steel frame structures were prioritized for their flexibility and cost-efficiency. Architectural layout balanced open manufacturing zones with administrative and support facilities, optimizing both movement and oversight. Materials were selected for longevity and ease of maintenance, considering the industrial setting and local climate.

Construction

The construction documentation covered all aspects:

  • Detailed steel structure drawings

  • Foundation layouts and load calculations

  • Elevations and sections of the workshop, administration building, and service areas

  • Utility integrations and finishing details The design was fully compliant with technical standards and approved by both structural and project management engineers.

The Result

The final design provided a future-proof, scalable solution that aligns with Tân Thắng’s operational needs and growth strategy. It sets a benchmark in efficient factory layout and structural clarity—enabling streamlined execution, simplified maintenance, and robust day-to-day performance.
