Fingerprint Registration – SIMAN

This is the fingerprint registration interface designed for SIMAN (Sistem Informasi Absensi Madrasah). The goal was to create a simple, clear, and user-friendly layout that guides users throughout the fingerprint enrollment process.

Overview

Users can register up to two fingerprints. Each fingerprint can be scanned up to four times to ensure precision and consistency in data capture.

The interface provides visual feedback in three stages:

• Neutral (Gray): Fingerprint not yet scanned.

• Scanning (Yellow): Fingerprint is being scanned.

• Success (Green): Fingerprint successfully captured.

Key Interactions

• Mulai Pemindaian (Start Scanning) – Initiates the fingerprint scanning process.

• Daftar (Register) – Saves the scanned fingerprints into the system.

• Batal (Cancel) – Exits the registration process.

Design Approach

The UI emphasizes simplicity and clarity, using familiar fingerprint visuals and color coding to indicate status. The layout ensures users are not overwhelmed and can intuitively follow the steps, even with minimal technical knowledge.

This screen is part of a larger effort to modernize the attendance and identity verification system within the educational ecosystem through SIMAN.
