IDS BK - Smooth Route Planning & Ticketing Experience

One of the most complex flows in the new IDS BK public transport app was route search. 🧭

So how did we approach it? 👀

✅ Research showed most users don’t even use this feature — they jump straight to Google Maps.

There was even serious discussion about removing it completely to cut costs and simplify the app.

In the end, the client chose to keep it — designing for the future rather than just the present.

✅ We didn’t reinvent the wheel.

We borrowed proven patterns from similar apps, then added thoughtful extras — like stop previews and live data.

Sometimes, creativity is key. 🎨
