We've created a six-scene script featuring Nellie the Wildrose as the protagonist. The script explores how this provincial flower represents Alberta's spirit through its natural attributes and symbolic significance. Nellie - named after Nellie McClung of the suffrage movement - demonstrates leadership through her ability to establish strong roots in challenging rocky environments, create supportive communities, and thrive during the brief but intense Rocky Mountain summers.

The script respectfully acknowledges the First Peoples as original stewards of the land who understood ecological balance and connection to place, while being mindful not to appropriate their cultural elements.
