SAM I - 3D Album Art Animation

3D Design, Motion, AI Integration & Post Production

Client: Sam I (feat. Sia – “Perfect”)

Platform: Apple Music & Spotify (looped animation)

Brief: Transform static 2D album artwork into a dynamic, looping 3D animation.

What I did:

• 3D Design: Rebuilt the Japanese alleyway scene in Blender with custom modeling, texturing, and lighting.

• Concept & Reveal: Designed the environment to feel like a real alley at first glance, with subtle easter eggs including Japanese lyrics. As the camera zooms out, signage shifts to reveal the name “Sam I.”

• Motion Design: Animated a smooth, continuous camera move to guide the visual narrative.

• AI Integration: Used AI tools to enhance atmosphere and environmental detail.

• Post Production: Final compositing and looping in After Effects for platform-ready delivery.
