SCITT Dashboard – From Chaos to UX Clarity

This dashboard was designed for SCITT students (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training) as a central place to track their teaching journey—bringing together performance, tasks, and upcoming meetings in one focused view.

Previously, this experience was entirely manual: a combination of email chains, physical binders, and scattered meeting notes. The goal was to bring structure and support into a single, accessible interface.

🔹 Clear visual hierarchy with top-level snapshot pills—custom-designed to load content dynamically without clutter

🔹 UX structure encourages positivity, progress, and confidence

🔹 Interface hierarchy shows “most improved” areas, progress encouragement, and next steps

🔹 Palette and layout designed for clarity, accessibility, and visual calm—while still feeling modern and inviting

🔹 Value added: centralised hub, time-saving, improved student accountability and visibility

🔹 Designed with simplicity in mind—asking the right questions to make the right elements feel obvious, useful, and worth coming back to.

This is one of the first steps in building a modern digital experience for trainee teachers—a platform that actually supports their growth with structure and care.
