Tifsal – Premium Dishdasha Tailoring App.

UX Decisions & Wireframing

Our UX process began with qualitative research, including interviews and observational insights from users who regularly order custom dishdashas. Most communicated with tailors via The App or physically visited workshops, which lacked structure, consistency, and convenience.

Key UX Insights & Decisions:

Measurement Anxiety: Users were often unsure how to measure themselves accurately. This led to redesigning the measurement flow using step-by-step guidance with visual illustrations and tooltips, reducing the cognitive load and increasing confidence.

Order Visibility & Trust: Customers frequently complained about being "left in the dark" after placing an order. To solve this, we introduced a progress tracker modeled after food delivery apps — giving real-time clarity on tailoring, fitting, and delivery stages.

Fabric Discovery Pain Point: In-person fabric selection is tactile and sensory. We couldn't replicate the feel, but we could improve exploration. So we designed a visual grid system with high-resolution close-ups, filters (color, texture, price), and descriptive tags.

Wireframes Review

Wireframe Priorities:

Wireframing focused on creating a linear, guided experience, reducing decision fatigue by breaking the journey into digestible stages:

Onboarding (fit profile setup)

Fabric & style selection

Measurements (manual or with assistance)

Summary + checkout

Order tracking dashboard

All wireframes were tested with low-fidelity prototypes to ensure clarity, accessibility, and ease of use — especially for older customers who may not be tech-savvy.

Tailoring-Inspired Flow The interface mirrors the real tailoring process. The order tracker uses real production stages like “Pattern Cut” and “Final Press,” while animations and transitions are slow-paced and intentional, reinforcing a sense of care.

Refined Component System UI components are minimal yet elevated — featuring neutral backgrounds, soft shadows, and precise spacing. The styling feels calm and premium, aligned with the craftsmanship behind the product.
