Catering for Seniors | Website Redesign
Why is it interesting?
Entree Plus Foods Inc. has been selected as an example of an abundant-looking, old-fashioned website that still provides catering services for seniors to enhance their independent lifestyles. Despite its active state, the website uses classic HTML and CSS and many static images that show meal examples and include text and numbers. Of course, none of this can be searchable or accessible for SEO.
Within the Food & Beverage competitive industry, these issues reduce the chance of a website's discoverability and efficiency.
Before...
Before the redesign, the website's UX/UI audit revealed a notable issue: the entire site was built using images only. All the textual content, including information about the company, the catering menu, and contact details, was embedded within static images.

Designing a website for a catering company that focuses on seniors involves finding a balance between elegance and accessibility. The color palette of soft sage, warm taupe, and creamy ivory creates a sense of warmth and trust in the user experience. Intuitive layouts are essential to ensure ease of use. The outcome is a welcoming site, much like a comforting meal - simple, refined, and thoughtful. What are your thoughts? How would you adjust this for seniors?
