• Collaborated with a prominent restaurant chain to explore how an augmented reality (AR) wearable device could improve workflows across kitchen staff, front-line employees, and management. This device aimed to provide hands-free access to key information and tools, enhancing efficiency and reducing friction during busy operations.

Solution

Our solution involved designing a voice-operated, heads-up AR device that allowed employees to:

• Access KPS (Kitchen Production System) screens to monitor active orders and fulfillment needs.

• Utilize tools like timers and temperature monitors to manage station-specific tasks efficiently.

• Interact with an AI assistant,capable of responding to users prompts.

• Actively track key metrics throughout the day, providing real-time insights into restaurant performance.
