Fake Variable Font test in After Effects

MoglyphFX allows you to clone editable words in any distribution you like (Grid, Brick, Linear, Radial, Spiral or Spline) and to animate them procedurally with its powerfull set of Effectors.

Here a simple Formula Effector has been applied to a "MoText (duplicated Words" layer that was edited in its text source to become:

"Waves Words

Words Waves"

with its "Scale X", "Tracking" and "Stroke width" Parameters tweaked in order to give the impression that the lines are stretching in a typical Variable Font way (but it's all done with Arial Bold!)

Note that - in order for this to work - the Formula Effector had been firstly set to be based on "Lines" instead of "Characters" through MoglyphFX's UI > Effectors tab.
