Healthcare Platform — Personalized Health Analysis Based on Lab
Role: UX/UI Designer (responsible for specific functional modules within a cross-functional team)
Platform Type: Web-based medical platform
Team: Designers, Developers, Researchers, PM, CEO, Marketing
Project Overview
The platform allows users to upload clinical and genetic test results and receive a personalized report with clear, data-based health insights. The system identifies potential health risks, suggests relevant specialists, and provides lifestyle recommendations tailored to each user’s data — including considerations for hereditary risks.
My responsibility was to design the UX and UI for the functional module that transforms uploaded medical data into structured, understandable conclusions and actionable advice.
My Contribution
1. Medical Data Interpretation
Users upload various lab results (e.g., blood panels, genetic tests)
The system automatically detects key indicators and presents clear interpretations
Highlights potential predispositions and genetic risks
Includes projections for children where hereditary factors are involved
2. Personalized Lifestyle Guidance
Tailored recommendations based on the individual’s data
Dietary advice such as reducing saturated fats, increasing vegetables, avoiding spicy foods
Suggestions related to stress management, physical activity, and wellness
Guidance on which medical specialist to visit and in what time frame
3. Design System Integration
All work was developed within the existing design system
Maintained visual consistency, typographic hierarchy, color scheme, and layout principles
Unified data presentation and component behavior to ensure a seamless experience across the platform
4. Interactive Prototyping
Delivered a fully interactive, clickable prototype of the entire flow
Covered all primary and edge-case scenarios
The prototype was used as a reference by the development team for implementation
