The Cambridge LIFE Magazine 2024

LIFE Magazine is a biannual publication from the City of Cambridge’s Public Information Office, mailed directly to households across the city. Each issue shares essential updates on City initiatives, programs, and services—keeping residents informed, engaged, and connected to their community.

We approached the design of the magazine with a clear goal: to make civic information not only accessible, but inviting. Through a balanced layout, intuitive navigation, and inclusive visual language, we crafted a reading experience that welcomes all residents—regardless of age, language, or familiarity with City programs.

Thoughtful use of typography, color, and structure allows key messages to stand out while maintaining a sense of calm and clarity. The result is a magazine that feels both informative and personal—one that encourages readers to engage, take action, and feel more connected to the place they call home.
