ELO AI is an exclusive, high-contrast dating profile analyzer designed for Gen Z men looking to seriously boost their online dating performance. With a luxury speakeasy vibe, this app blends advanced profile insights with a sleek user experience, offering users actionable advice to improve their chances of matching—and connecting.
UI Design Insights
1. Visual Identity: We leaned into a premium, club-like aesthetic—black backgrounds, sharp white typography, and a royal purple accent evoke exclusivity, confidence, and finesse. The UI is clean, minimal, and emotionally engaging, mirroring the dim glow of a high-end lounge.
2. Carousel-Driven Storytelling. Carousels guide users through value propositions (Home), app usage (Upload), and personal feedback (Results)—making learning intuitive and visual while keeping screens minimal and swipable.
3. Accessibility & Focus. High contrast ensures legibility across lighting conditions. Feedback scores use color-coding and intuitive phrasing (“Excellent 9.6/10,” “Top 2%”) to create clear takeaways at a glance.
UX Challenges & Solutions
Challenge 1: Users may not know what makes a “good” dating profile. Solution: ELO AI offers AI-driven, easily digestible analysis broken into clear categories: Attractiveness, Engagement, and Authenticity. Users get both scores and human-readable tips (e.g. “confident and natural expressions”).
Challenge 2: Friction in uploading dating profiles from other apps. Solution: A dedicated “Upload My Screenshots” tutorial screen shows real examples from Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble—reducing confusion and helping users complete the task in under a minute.
Challenge 3: Users want results, not fluff. Solution: The results screen delivers fast, visual, swipeable insights with direct recommendations. It's easy to save, share, and iterate—no fluff, just actionable info.
