Sharing this fun identity design done for a freelance sound designer Matis Merilain. The focus on this identity was this custom typeface inspired loosely from musical notes. The shear gives the type more motion and playfulness and the star symbolises the final polish that sound design gives to games.

The sketching process explored multiple directions from type to logomarks. The inspiration drawn from various type treatments seen in games. Two ideas were chosen for final exploration. Both friendly and playful approaches.

The final logo was chosen mainly for readability and usability with a colourways that is both retro and colourful. There is an additional mark that was created by overlaying two M letters on top of each other.
