As a new Go player, I stumbled upon the National Go Center while searching for local groups and couldn't resist the urge to give their website a fresh look! This self-initiated project was purely for fun, combining my love for design with my growing interest in the game. I focused on improving usability, modernizing the visuals, and making information more accessible for new and experienced players alike. No commissions, no requests, just a creative exercise to explore possibilities!

• Modern Visual Hierarchy – Clean black and white color scheme with better typography and spacing creates a more professional appearance and guides the user's attention effectively.

• Enhanced User Engagement – Strategic placement of call-to-action buttons ("Join," "Join a Free Event") with supporting imagery of diverse players creates emotional connection and clear pathways for participation.

• Content Structure – Well-organized sections for events, community information, and game descriptions make the information more digestible and accessible.

• Improved Event Promotion – Dedicated calendar section with specific dates, times, and registration options makes it easier for visitors to plan their participation and engagement.
