The Guild - Rebrand

The Client:

The Guild redefined hospitality by blending the best aspects of hotels and short-term rentals, focusing on exceptional guest experiences and seamless journeys.

Challenge:

The founders, with business backgrounds, valued design but lacked the expertise to integrate it fully. As the design team leader, I was responsible for embedding design principles into the brand and ensuring an engaging guest experience, supported by a small team and contractors.

Solution:

I employed a collaborative approach, working with my team and experts in branding, photography, SEO, and video. Together, we infused design thinking into all aspects of The Guild, creating a user-centric, visually captivating brand.

Reimagining Traditional Hospitality:

To develop a comprehensive brand strategy, I partnered with a brand strategist and design agency to translate The Guild's core values into a compelling identity. This collaboration evoked the vintage allure of travel and provided guests with peace of mind, helping the founders understand the importance of design principles in elevating their brand.

Crafting Memorable Experiences:

Interior design was crucial in delivering comfort and discovery at The Guild. We collaborated with design agencies to curate furniture and fixtures that reflected the unique character of each location. Meticulous planning and on-site visits ensured clear wayfinding, enhancing guest navigation.

We also managed the creation of in-room and marketing collateral, including room maps, welcome posters, and neighborhood guides. By establishing a cohesive visual language across all touchpoints, we aimed to create a captivating experience that went beyond hospitality, immersing guests in comfort and discovery throughout their journey with The Guild.
