Overview

Borobi Chat was an AI-powered chatbot designed to assist tourists and attendees of the 2018 Commonwealth Games while also educating users on Indigenous Australian culture. Named after Borobi, the official mascot of the Games, the chatbot was developed to provide seamless, multilingual assistance, helping visitors navigate their trip with ease.

The project was a finalist in the 2018 GovHack, a prestigious competition recognizing innovative digital solutions for public benefit using open source data.
