Dropdown
Hello everyone! 👋
I have completed my twenty-seventh study. Dropdown - Daily UI Challenge #027
Design Analysis
I designed this order page UI in Figma, with a primary focus on a seamless and intuitive selection process. The goal was to keep it clean, user-friendly, and visually appealing, ensuring that customers can customize their coffee orders effortlessly.
1. Minimalist & Clean Layout
• The product image is the focal point, giving users a clear preview of what they’re ordering.
• The white background ensures a fresh, modern look, while the green header ties into a natural, eco-friendly theme—something that resonates well with coffee brands.
2. Drop-down for Customization
• The size selection drop-down allows users to quickly choose between Small, Medium, and Large without overwhelming them with too many options.
• I used a checkmark indicator to show the selected size, reinforcing clarity.
• The Milk Selection field is disabled, which could be a design choice based on product availability or future enhancements.
3. Pricing & Quantity Adjustment
• The price is prominently displayed in a distinct color, ensuring transparency.
• A piece selector (quantity dropdown) makes it easy for users to adjust their order without unnecessary friction.
4. Intuitive Navigation & CTA Placement
• The hamburger menu (top left) ensures easy navigation within the app.
• The cart icon (top right) provides a quick view of added items, reinforcing the e-commerce experience.
This design ensures a smooth ordering experience, balancing aesthetics and functionality. Open to feedback—what do you think?
