Winter Bird

Worked on a quick one-day animation for the end card of a couple of dealership commercials for winter. Animated four little critters, each taking a day to make—modeling, rigging, materializing, and animating in C4D, then comping in AE.

For this bird, I used the previously rigged model I had made for the same client. Since I had a head start with the model, I decided to add some dynamic snow the bird could shake off after a little nap.

Once backed as an alembic I ran the snow bits in the volume builder to make the snow a lot more round and dynamic looking.
