Nostalgia

I was rooting through an old sketchbook and found this illustration (Drawn with fine liner, watercolour and posca).

It’s based on an old cassette I used to chuck on during the half hour drive from Auckland to Muriwai beach back in 1999. It had all the required ska/punk tracks to get pumped before paddling out into the unforgiving west coast surf of New Zealand. 

Aaaah, the sweet nostalgia of lung busting fear and being drilled by massive waves. Good times
