Challenges & UX Audit Findings

Through my research and audit, I identified key pain points in the existing menu:

• The previous navigation lacked visual clarity, making it difficult for users to differentiate categories.

• Users had trouble finding specific diamond shapes or engagement ring styles quickly.

• The absence of visual cues resulted in a less engaging browsing experience.

Proposed Solution

To improve usability, I designed a new mega menu that introduces:

Category Cards with Images – Each product category now features an image preview, helping users recognize and select their desired section faster.

Diamond Shape Filters with Visual Previews – The menu now presents diamond types through images. Users can click on, for example, “Oval Diamonds”, and instantly see engagement rings featuring oval diamonds.

Streamlined Layout & Improved Hierarchy – The new structure ensures better readability and quicker access to high-priority categories.
