Data picker - UX Rebound

Jordan Hughes®, your "Date picker — Untitled UI" design is outstanding. It inspired me to replicate it, and based on my UX experience, I made some adjustments to enhance the visual continuity in date range selection.

I noticed that in Light mode, the intermediate days between the start and end date don’t maintain a clear visual connection. You use an accent color for the start and end dates, but the intermediate days are encapsulated with rounded borders, making them look like a separate subset rather than a continuous selection.

In Dark mode, this differentiation is even less noticeable, as the selected days don’t have a distinct color contrast compared to the rest of the calendar.

My suggestion is to remove the rounded borders and instead use a solid background that seamlessly covers the entire selected range. This would reinforce the perception of continuity and improve the user’s visual experience.
