S&K Remodeling Website (case study)
S&K Remodeling – A Modern Digital Transformation
For S&K Remodeling, I designed a sleek, modern website that reflects the fresh, open, and minimalist aesthetic of their home renovations. While I didn’t create their branding, I expanded upon their existing logo and color palette to build a unique, high-end web presence that resonates with their clientele. The redesign features dynamic elements such as scrolling text with the company’s slogan, "Build Home, Build Family, Build S&K" adding movement and reinforcing their brand message in an engaging way.
A great remodeling company deserves a website that reflects its craftsmanship. Here are the top three fixes that transformed S&K Remodeling’s site:
Outdated Layout → Sleek, Modern Design The old site felt unbalanced and clunky. I restructured it with a clean, organized layout that makes navigation effortless and visually appealing.
Weak Calls to Action → Clear, Engaging CTAs Visitors weren’t sure where to click next. I added bold, well-placed buttons and engaging messaging to guide them toward scheduling consultations with ease.
Missed Visual Opportunities → Smart Use of Project Images At the time, they had limited professional images for the homepage (which is one reason why their old website's homepage didn't showcase any). I carefully placed their best-quality photos front and center, while lower-quality images were subtly tinted and paired with CTAs. This not only made their portfolio an interactive part of the site but also kept the overall design polished and cohesive.
