Object Card: Quick Preview

In a previous shot, I mentioned that we continued exploring the object card. Based on conversations with our customers, we assumed users would want a quick preview of key details — like equipment warranties, location contacts, and client files.

The previous version didn’t support this. The details were there, but users had to click into each section to access them.

To improve this, we redesigned the bottom part of the card to function as a tab stack, allowing users to preview details, contacts, and files directly within the card.

With this and other concepts, we held a customer meeting and ran a simple user test to see which design worked best. Spoiler: this version didn’t make the cut…
