Letter D - Logo Design, Monogram
I'm still trying to get comfortable with Affinity Designer, and for today's design practice, I worked on a letter "D" concept. It might not look perfect, but this is my best effort so far while designing with Affinity Designer, which I just purchased a few days ago.
As always, I draw inspiration from classic designs from the '70s and '80s. More specifically, this time, I was inspired by a logo featured on the cover of Trademarks and Symbols of the World 2.
So far, my experience with Affinity Designer has revealed some differences compared to Adobe Illustrator. Overall, the tools feel quite similar, but adapting to a new workflow definitely takes time. That's why I'm using my free time to practice with Affinity Designer. One thing I’ve noticed is that it seems to use less RAM compared to Adobe Illustrator. Not sure why—maybe it's just my perception. 😆
