Celebrating the 125th Aniversary of Public Transport in Pilsen

Visual identity concept for PMDP - Public Transport of Pilsen.

In 2024, the city of Pilsen celebrated the 125th year of having public transport. For that occasion, PMDP wanted an idea for a special line of merchanise and graphic materials to promote the celebrations.

I designed a minimalist, type-centered visual identity that allowed to change the copy depending on the garment or object it was applied to. This created an opportunity to have fun with the individual pieces and variability when needed.

The concept was then applied by inhouse PMDP designers to a wide range of clothes, household items, celebrations memorabilia and eventually across one whole tram!

This work was created while I was employed at Beneš & Michl Web and Graphic Design Agency. I am grateful to all of my then colleagues for providing me with feedback and good ideas to create this piece as well as many more during my time there.
