The 2025 Team SS Gi is a design project where I took inspiration from the bold aesthetics of NBA and American sports apparel, merging those elements with the functional needs of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). The goal was to create a Gi that reflected the robust, athletic nature of the sport while maintaining a sleek, modern look.

The design features clean, sharp lines and a strong color palette that draws from the world of sports branding, using contrasting hues to emphasize strength and performance. I incorporated elements like dynamic lettering and graphic patterns, inspired by NBA jerseys, to give the Gi a more energetic, team-focused aesthetic. The idea was to make the Gi feel more like a piece of high-performance sportswear, built for both competition and training.

By combining the bold visual style of American sports with the practicality needed for a Gi, the 2025 Team SS Gi offers a fresh take on traditional BJJ uniforms. The design focuses on creating a strong, athletic presence while ensuring it performs under the rigorous demands of the sport.
