Welcome to another showcase of our UI/UX project, Panolocal.
Micro-interactions are great tools to encourage user engagement. In this shot, we showcase an upward-expanding menu button micro-interaction for smaller mobile screens. The incorporated animation allows the user to view menus without switching pages, minimizing effort and time spent.
To avoid confusion and improve UX, the menu button undergoes a text and icon change from menu to close to clarify how users can close the menu.
