Ocean Drive | Motion Graphics

Back in early 2022, I composed and self-released an instrumental synthwave album, inspired by the retro music, films, and video games I grew up with, as well as exaggerated themes of 1980s pop culture.

As with most of my music releases, I created a promotional teaser from scratch, designing the visuals in Affinity Designer and animating a looping sequence in After Effects. This served as a dynamic background for the music on my YouTube channel—and even as an animated backdrop in my Zoom meetings :)

I previously shared a still of the cover art as a promotional poster on my Dribbble account.
