The Bridge to Somewhere

This is the leap of faith it takes to meet Jesus. Blindly walking across a road unknown. It's scary, like jumping not knowing if you will be caught or fall into the depths of the sea. But it is also as simple as walking across a peaceful bridge in the middle of nowhere. But what is on the other side? The other side isn't easy from our own worldly perspective, but Jesus says it is in Matthew.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:30

Will the challenges of life go away? Of course not, that would be a lie. But you'll be walking with someone on the other side. Jesus, the one who loves you more that you can even imagine. The One who died for your sins and offers grace no matter what you've done. And lastly, the one who can comfort you in tough times. So, walk over the bridge WITH Jesus by your side because no one can come to the Father except through Him. Jesus is the bridge.
