Ride Hailing App Overhaul
Overhauling the UI for a different target audience
The aim of this overhaul was to change the landing screen of a ride hailing app (Bykea) to now accommodate for a new target audience being that of 7-14 year olds who want to order goodies.
Keeping that in mind, I went with a Gamified approach with a sense of progression which would cater to the target audience as they would be more interested in some sort of gaming experience, changing the map layout to that of an RPG game map and having personalized characters to indicate the ride reaching the destination, along with keeping in mind the colors and preventing excess data overload which may not sit well with the children in the age bracket. Visuals are also especially emphasized catering towards an overall experience for the children in the target demographic.
