Project Brief

The project builds on the concept of Thematic Dashboards, allowing users to customise their experience with themes tailored to their preferences.

💖This design focuses on a luxurious aesthetic, harmonising perfectly with romantic novels. These stories often evoke feelings of timelessness and relaxation, providing readers with an escape into worlds that exude quality and tranquillity. This dashboard will capture these elements, providing an exclusive, high-quality experience for those who enjoy immersing themselves in romance.

📖Through this dashboard, users can track their reading habits, making their reading activities more efficient, and explore a variety of books suitable to their preferences.

This project was a fun challenge because the luxury theme was randomly assigned through a lucky draw, and I had to connect it to my personal habits. My daily life isn’t exactly fancy, so I struggled to find a connection. After some brainstorming, I landed on reading—it has that timeless, relaxing vibe that fit perfectly.

To make the design both elegant and functional, I used quantitative data (reading habits, progress tracking) and qualitative data (book preferences, saved quotes).

In the end, I created a fully responsive, immersive dashboard that blends personalisation with a refined feel—and I’m really happy with how it turned out!
