Microinteraction Animation for Downloading Songs
Microinteractions matter. They are what turn a 'meh' app into a memorable experience. As Dan Saffer said in his book Microinteractions: "Signature moments are those microinteractions that are product differentiators."
I created this animated microinteraction exercise for a music streaming app. The microinteraction focuses on downloading a song to enable offline playback later. The user triggers the interaction, receives clear feedback during the download process, and finally, the completion of the download is communicated through a clean, minimal, yet beautifully memorable animation.
