Welcome screen for the Ami app

Caring for someone with dementia is an emotional and practical challenge, often leaving caregivers feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. Ami is a digital health solution concept designed to bridge that gap—combining emotional design principles with practical tools to improve the well-being of informal caregivers in Portugal.

By integrating Emotional Design principles, the Ami project created a more empathetic and engaging support tool for informal caregivers. This approach not only enhanced user trust and perception but also laid the foundation for future developments that aim to improve the quality of life for both caregivers and people living with dementia.
