How do you make something new again?

When we decided to refresh the Optious logo, we knew we had to showcase it the only way we know how—through animation.

It all started early last year. The design, ideas, script, and concept were born. The animation even got close to being finished. But, as always, other projects took precedence. The video got buried in the backlog.

Months passed. And then, we returned. The first step: dusting off the project. The second: seeing it with fresh eyes.

What we thought was our best work? It wasn’t. Not since a few months.

Since then, we’ve improved. A lot. The animation. The design. Our understanding of the brand. We refined the concept, added new segments, and incorporated more 3D elements.

"Could it be better?" we asked. And asked again. And again.

This time, we focused on sound. Early in the video, before the music drop took over. The sound designer who used textures and tones we’d never thought to use before.

After months of tweaking, we had it. The final version.

It’s not the first version. Or the second. Or even the fifth. It’s the result of months of evolution, change, and reflection.
