Slack Saved YOU for Later
Do you find yourself constantly working and living on Slack? Feeling the pressure to respond immediately to every message?
Slack is a powerful messaging platform primarily used by companies to facilitate communication among team members. It is a great app I rely on daily, both for work and personal life. However, the demand for quick responses at work can be overwhelming, making it feel like we're always "on." Fortunately, in my workplace, we can set Slack aside for extended periods to focus on our tasks. This freedom got me thinking...
What If... Slack highlighted messages that have been saved for later. Let me explain: one of Slack's most convenient features is the ability to bookmark or save messages for future reference by clicking a button. Currently, users can only see the messages they've saved. But what if it also displayed the messages others have marked for later? This way, you would know if someone has seen your message and intends to respond later.
From a user experience perspective, this is a solid idea. It could significantly reduce the anxiety many of us feel about the need to reply immediately. Furthermore, it would enhance Slack's overall experience, increasing engagement and retention.
What do you think? Do you use Slack? Would you find this feature helpful, or would you prefer to save it for later?
